Hidden and the title of a miniseries written by Gianfranco Manfredi, consists of 14 volumes twisted to one another with the intent to form a sort of great graphic novel.
The story is set in the late nineteenth century and takes place in Rome, Ethiopia (the only African country that, precisely at the end of the nineteenth century, resisted European imperialism) and Eritrea, Italian colony in Africa.

The protagonist takes the name of his face hidden, legendary warrior and the Islamic prophet with the face covered by a silver mask which, in history, leading the Ethiopian resistance against foreign invaders (this is a character inspired by authentic Islamic legends ). The series, however, is unanimous, rather innovative features for the publishing house in Milan.
